Yum!!!! The pork chop plate was awesome! The side options was tremendous! Mashed and okra was mine... Delicious!! The other two plates were really good. The burger was so big there was left overs!!!! The enchiladas disappeared quick ! Big servings!! Great service!!!

WOW!!!!!!!!!! I had the biggest Chicken Fried Steak! Incredible!!!!! The garlic mashed potatoes and broccoli casserole were delicious!!!!! The yeast roll was a REAL yeast roll! Not one of those that are from a store that’s just on the plate. The food was all cooked with pride. My husband had the Patty Melt with French fries and that TOO was delicious!!!!! One more item we highly enjoyed was the Onion Rings! YUM!!!!! The service is FANTASTIC TOO! Anna was a top notch waitress. She was attentive to all our needs and any questions we had. Let me tell you that If we lived here, we would eat here ALL THE TIME!!!!! Rio Ranch Cafe is THE ABSOLUTE BEST RESTAURANT that my Husband & I have been to!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Large portions for hungry people is what WE LOVE!!!!!!!!!!!! And you can’t beat these prices. Fantastic place. I REALLY LOVE THIS FRONT of the MENU!!!!! Thank you Rio Ranch Cafe for getting us full and happy. We WILL be back for breakfast!!!!!!!!!!
Great cooking at a very reasonable price!! Hubby got the chicken fried steak, it barely fit on the plate!! It was tender, well seasoned & just the right amount of breading, great cream gravy!! I got steak fingers, very delicious!! The star of our visit was definitely the fried pickles!! So light, not super greasy & homemade ranch for dipping, DELICIOUS!! Large portions, we both needed to go boxes, friendly & attentive staff, cant wait to bring family when they visit!! 1,000,000,000,000/10 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I have been coming to this place for years! It's one of my favorite dining spots since Del Norte went downhill after being sold off a decade or so ago! All of the old school and genuine Del Norte experience, cuisine, and atmosphere is right here! This place is so delicious! The food is always freshly prepared! Even at their busiest hours you can always count on getting your food in such a timely manner even surprisingly quickly at times! I highly recommend absolutely anything on the menu. Hard to say for any other place but I can assure you that anything you order on the menu is going to be delicious! Absolutely anything that you order on this menu is going to be a winner! I love this place and plan on continuing to visit this place on any casual Saturday morning for years to come! Great place for your family and friends! And good luck finding parking because this place is always super busy!
This restaurant is a gem. We recently dined here for the first time (and have returned a few times since) and really enjoyed everything about it. Service was outstanding, the menu had a great variety, and the food was delicious. Prices were reasonable, too. Thank you all at Rio Ranch Cafe for making our visit perfect!
Great place for breakfast right across the road from Jellystone, but don't try and cross the highway on foot. Great friendly service and big portions
Took my daughter, from Ft. Worth, TX to the restaurant for lunch. It was about 130pm and the lunch crowd was still there, but several tables were still available. The service was outstanding and very attentive, to include a to go cup, if desired. The food was excellent and well prepared. My daughter has the chicken fried chicken, which contained two patties, which she stated was wonderful and French fries which were very good. I had the crunchy tacos which were the best I have tasted this far in Kerrville. Restaurant was very clean, despite the lunch crowd and very well lite. The menu has several delicious looking items and could be overwhelming, as my daughter indicated. I highly recommend this place to eat. Only bad thing, was it was not advertised outside very well and I had to turn around to get to entrance. As reference, it it right across from Jellystone RV park.
Honestly, our breakfast of Brisket Hash and eggs rate in the top 5 of my lifetime! Absolutely delicious! Service was friendly and efficient! Food came out hot, fast and perfectly cooked! Great coffee! Highly recommend! A must try in Kerrville!
